Hawaii Four Island Escape
13 Days - Oahu, Maui, Hawaii and Kauai


Day 1 - ARRIVE HONOLULU (4 nights)
Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at Honolulu International Airport, you are greeted with a traditional fresh flower lei and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to welcome you. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Waikiki.

Day 2 - OAHU SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
Meet your fellow travelers and Tour Director at a private meeting about the Hawaiian Islands and your vacation. Then set out to see the natural wonders of Oahu. Discover tropical rainforests, world-famous surfing beaches, picturesque villages and pineapple fields. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Waikiki.

Day 3 - HONOLULU AT LEISURE
A full day free to pursue your own interests. Shopping is a favorite pastime at Waikiki’s International Market Place with over 130 carts, shops and artisan stands. Or for the more adventurous, try an outrigger canoe ride or take a surfing lesson from one of Waikiki's beach boys!

Day 4 - PEARL HARBOR & HONOLULU SIGHTSEEING
Head to Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial. Relive a moment in history at this tribute to the military personnel who were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Next is Punchbowl National Cemetery and Downtown Honolulu where you see the State Capitol, King Kamehameha Statue and the beautiful Iolani Palace, former residence of Hawaii royalty. Also included is a visit to a renowned coral jewellery workshop where you’ll learn how Hawaii’s rare and precious corals are harvested, graded and crafted into unique island designs. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure before getting together for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - OAHU – HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK – KONA
Fly to Hilo and enjoy a Highlight Lunch. Continue to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Kilauea, the world’s most active volcano. Later enjoy a visit to the Jaggar Museum to learn about the fiery formation of the islands and walk through an actual lava tube. Later continue on through macadamia nut and Kona coffee farms. Visit a coffee plantation, see how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and processed and sip a freshly brewed cup of this highly valued coffee. Continue on to your oceanfront hotel on the stunning Kona Coast.

Day 6 - KONA AT LEISURE
A full day of leisure to do as you please. Perhaps visit a historic heiau, a Hawaiian temple of worship; take a snorkeling excursion or ride aboard a submarine to view the colorful reef sea life without getting wet. The choice is yours and your tour director will be happy to assist you in making your plans. (Full Breakfast)

Day 7 - KONA – MAUI (3 nights)
Fly to Maui and stop at a local organic urban farm. With your expert host, you’ll enjoy a unique blend of education, superb local produce and great cooking, and find yourself at the forefront of the organic farming experience. Next visit the historic whaling town of Lahaina where a delightful 'Be My Guest' Lunch with wine is served beachside, before continuing on to your oceanfront hotel on stunning Kaanapali Beach.

Day 8 - Day 9 - MAUI AT LEISURE
Enjoy two fabulous days at leisure. Relax on the beach or by the pool, shop for souvenirs, enjoy a game of tennis or golf, go sailing or explore he island further – the choice is entirely yours! During your stay on Maui, you’ll meet a local naturalist who will discuss the ecology of the awaiian Archipelago, taking a look beyond the ordinary at some of the plants and wildlife that call the Hawaiian Islands home. On one of your evenings, enjoy tropical cocktails and delicious island specialities, then learn about Hawaiian culture and traditions during a colourful song and dance review at a Luau Highlight Dinner. A night you will long remember!

Day 10 - MAUI - KAUAI (3 nights)
Fly to Kauai, the “Garden Isle.” Kauai is so nicknamed because of its lush tropical landscape, which you may recognize as the location for some of Hollywood’s classics such as "South Pacific" and the modern blockbuster "Jurassic Park" trilogy. Cruise up the Wailua River and learn of its importance to Hawaiian culture. Take a short nature walk through the rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto where you will be entertained with songs and legends of the island and perhaps learn the hula during a lesson provided by a hula dancer. A riverside Highlight Lunch completes the tour before heading to your beautiful oceanfront resort.

Day 11 - Day 12 - KAUAI AT LEISURE
Relax with two peaceful days on Kauai. Enjoy the resort’s 25 lushly landscaped acres along Kauai’s longest beach or explore on your own. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the spectacular Waimea Canyon, aptly nicknamed “Grand Canyon of the Pacific;” explore the dramatic Na Pali Coast by helicopter or by boat… It’s hard to choose, but your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your day! On your last evening, join your Tour Director and newfound friends at a Farewell Dinner and toast to a memorable Hawaiian vacation!

Day 13 - DEPART KAUAI
Your vacation ends with a complimentary transfer to Lihue Airport.

Oahu – Discover the island’s many natural wonders; learn about the pineapple industry during a visit to the Dole Plantation.

Honolulu – Explore the city’s main highlights including Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific and downtown Honolulu; visit a coral jewelery workshop.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Learn how the Hawaiian Islands were created; stop at the active Kilauea Volcano; visit the Thomas A. Jaggar Museum and walk through an actual lava tube.

Kona – Visit a Kona coffee plantation and enjoy Kona coffee tasting.

Maui – Stop at the historic whaling town of Lahaina; visit a local organic urban farm and learn about sustainable farming; meet a local naturalist on Maui for a discussion on the ecology of the Hawaiian Archipelago; experience Hawaiian culture and traditions at an authentic Hawaiian luau.

Kauai – Cruise along the Wailua River and visit the famous Fern Grotto.
